MR BILL MACBETH OBE
Managing Director.
Responsible for business growth, strategy and ensuring that the business remains effective in a changing global world for textile manufacturing businesses.
MRS ANDREA PHILIPSON
Company Secretary & Head of Finance.
Andrea is the Centre’s chief financial officer and manages all aspects of conferencing, accounts and the front of house provision.
She has worked directly on a number of European funded projects, including project managing the very successful, multi-million pound Textile Innovation Programme for the Centre, and is currently managing another European project, Clustem, to benefit small and medium size businesses, as well as contributing towards several others
MR LEE HARRISON
Lee joined us in March 2016 as Training Team Manager. He is responsible for all commercial and funded training delivery and administration.
With a background of high level internal and external contract management, Lee has worked for Training Providers across the North of England and brings his passion and experience to our team, to help develop the quality, improve the performance and implement growth in the operation.
MR CRAIG LAWRANCE
Craig, a former Loom Tuner at Bradford based Boardman & Smith, as well as time served with Calder Weaving and J Longbottom Ltd, is the Centre’s technical warping and weaving expert and tutors our Technical Certificate in Textile Design and Manufacture programme. He also manages our short run, commission operation for warping and weaving.
DR PETER CHARLESWORTH
Pete is the Centre’s Health & Safety Tutor and Consultant.
Pete delivers our Health & Safety courses. On top of this, he carries out a wide range of environmental and occupational health & safety services to business across the UK. Pete has 30 years of industry experience and brings a solid depth of knowledge to our sector.
MR PAUL MATHER
Paul joined the Centre in January 2018 as our forklift instructor. He has previously worked as an NVQ assessor and has been a forklift instructor since 2001. For any FLT enquiries, please contact Sian Patrick.
MISS REBECCA MILES
Rebecca joined the Centre in February 2018 after working as a personal assistant for the past 6 years in both the private and public sector.
Rebecca’s primary role is personal assistant to the senior management team. Alongside this, she also supports the Centre working on European Project’s.
MISS KATY BAKER
Katy has worked in a variety of management roles within the education sector and is one of TCoE’s Management Tutors and Internal Quality Assurers, delivering Trailblazer Apprenticeships at both Operational and Supervisory Management level to a diverse range of organisations throughout Yorkshire and the North West. Katy’s postgraduate specialism is in pedagogical leadership, with embedded focus on inclusive education and promoting behaviour for learning.
MISS LAURA RIMMINGTON
Laura has recently joined the team as a Textiles Tutor / Assessor bringing with her a wealth of experience in garment decoration. Laura has worked with a variety of textiles companies across West Yorkshire and is passionate about sharing her skills and knowledge with others and supporting apprentices in their career progression. Laura delivers the Apprenticeship in Apparel / Textile Manufacturing at levels 2 and 3.
MRS CLAIRE EATON
Claire has worked at a variety of textile manufacturing companies across West Yorkshire and has experience and knowledge in quality control, quality assurance, textile testing, dyeing and colour matching. Claire delivers the Textile Manufacturing Operative and the Advanced Apprenticeship in Textiles.
