Major concern in Brussels among the Directors and Director Generals of the Euratex group about the potential departure of the UK from the European Union. Some think it could effectively start a process of EU disintegration, but many seem to admire the UK for taking the lead and pressing for reforms that they too would like to benefit from. Most seem to think that when it comes to a vote, the UK citizens will decide to stay as part of the EU and they don’t see how Scotland could stand alone. We’ll see!
